Romans 16

I recommend to you Phebe our sister, who is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea:

So that you receive her in the Lord, as is fitting of saints, and that you assist her in whatever business she has need of you: for she has been a great help to many, also to myself.

Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my helpers in Christ Jesus:

Who have laid down their own necks for my life: to whom not only do I give thanks (to them), but also all the churches of the Gentiles.

Likewise, greet the church that is in their house. Salute my well-beloved Epaenetus, who is the first fruits of Achaia to (the gospel of) Christ.

Greet Mary, who has labored so much on your behalf.

Salute Andronicus and Junia, my fellow countrymen, and my fellow-prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.

Greet Amplias, my beloved in the Lord.

Salute Urbane, our helper in Christ, and Stachys, my beloved.

Salute Apelles approved in Christ. Salute them who are of Aristobulus' household.

Salute Herodion, my kinsman. Greet them that be of the household of Narcissus, who believe in the Lord (Jesus).

Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labor in the Lord. Salute the beloved Persis, who has labored much in the Lord.

Salute Rufus chosen in the Lord, and his mother and mine.

Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brothers who are with them.

Salute Philologus, and Julia, Nereus, and his sisters, and Olympas, and all the saints who are with them.

Salute one another with a holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.

Now I implore you, brothers, mark those who cause divisions and offenses (that would cause anyone to stumble at the truth) contrary to the doctrine (of Christ and Him crucified) which you have learned (from me); (reject their doctrines) and avoid them.

For men such as this do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but (they are servants unto themselves and to that which satisfies) their own belly; and by pleasant words (that may sound good) and (with) elegant speeches deceive the hearts of the simple (who believe every word, not testing the spirits).

For your obedience (to the faith) has reached all men (and is spoken of throughout the world). I am glad, therefore, (and rejoice) on your behalf, yet my hope is for you to be wise (as serpents) in that which is good (and originates from God), and (harmless as doves) simple (pure, and undefiled) concerning (that which is) evil.

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan (once and for all, subduing the last enemy, death) under your feet shortly (in return of Christ, when every remnant of death is removed from the earth). The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Prince of Peace) be with you (always). Amen.

Timothy, my workfellow, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my countryman, salute you.

I Tertius, who wrote this letter, salute you in the Lord.

Gaius, my host, and the whole church, salute you. Erastus, the steward of the city, salutes you, and Quartus, a brother.

The grace (and mercy) of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Now unto Him who has the power to establish you (in the faith) according to (the truth of) my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ (and Him crucified), according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

But now is made manifest (to us), and (confirmed) by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment (of eternal life) from the everlasting God, made known to (all people of every) nation for the obedience of faith:

To the only true wise God (and savior), Jesus Christ, through whom is all glory (and fullness of the Godhead bodily throughout all the ages to come) Forever. Amen.
